Starting in 2009 with Erik's Bike Shop in Woodbury, MN, Dave began his career in the Bike Industry and the dream of owning his own shop began to form.  Over the next few years he would rise to the position of Assistant Manager, before setting off for Aspen to experience winter in the mountains in 2012. Over the years in Aspen he would spend his summers honing his skills as a mechanic with Ute City Cycles, building boutique and one-off road and mountain bikes for their customers.  Over time a change of pace was needed and Dave moved on to Aspen Bikes to sling rentals and maintain a fleet of over 300 bikes.

After more than a decade working in bike shops in Minnesota and Colorado, Aspen Bikewerks is launched! Aiming to provide fast, friendly, and high quality service to residents and guests of the Roaring Fork Valley we open up shop in partnership with Aspen MTB in Snowmass Village, CO.
